Service
Compassionate, patient and at eye level — so that every visit to the practice becomes a positive experience for your child that leaves a lasting impression for life.
A child's first contact with a dental practice shapes their relationship with dentistry for their entire life. That is precisely why we place extraordinary importance on a warm, child-friendly atmosphere and a gentle approach at our practice in Gelnhausen. Our goal is to build trust — not just for today's appointment, but as a foundation for a lifetime of healthy teeth. We take the time your child needs: to explore the practice, get acquainted with instruments and build confidence at their own pace. Parents are always welcome and actively involved in the treatment process throughout.
Healthy milk teeth are not a minor matter. They are placeholders for the permanent teeth, crucial for speech development, necessary for unimpaired chewing and important for your child's self-confidence and social development. Consistent preventive care from the very first tooth is therefore the wisest investment in oral health — and we are with you and your family every step of the way.
Despite all preventive efforts, a milk tooth may occasionally develop a cavity. We treat decay as gently and as conservatively as possible at all times — with age-appropriate communication, sufficient time and a calm, relaxed approach. If anaesthesia is required, we explain every step to your child in language they understand and take any anxieties seriously. For very anxious children, we offer accompanying relaxation techniques on request and, where agreed with parents, laughing gas sedation (nitrous oxide).
Alongside dental treatment, we always keep a close eye on your child's jaw development. Dental misalignments, lack of space or abnormal swallowing patterns that are identified early can often be corrected far more easily and gently during the growth phases than later in the adult dentition. Through early orthodontic screening, we identify developmental irregularities in good time and, where appropriate, refer to trusted orthodontic specialists in the region.
We recommend bringing your child to our practice for the first time as soon as their first milk tooth erupts — usually within the first year of life. This early introductory appointment is not yet about actual treatment, but about playfully exploring the practice environment and a brief first examination. In this way, your child grows up with regular dental visits as a completely natural part of life — without anxiety and without stress.
